The makers of Guitar Hero decided to spend huge on the ad for the updated version of the game. The ad features Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez, Tony Hawk and Michael Phelps. This cast appeals to the entire sports market. There's something for people who like traditional sports like baseball, "urban" sports like basketball, alternative sports like skateboarding or for people who think 14 Olympic gold medals is an accomplishment.
At first I was wondering why they are not wearing pants. Apparently its a suppose to be a re-enactment of a scene from Tom Cruise's Risky Business. Tom Cruise - please wear pants.
