Currently on www.airmiles.ca you can redeem 140 Air Miles for a $20 certificate to use at grocery operators A&P / Metro. On the other hand, you can redeem 175 Air Miles for a $20 certificate to use for fuel at Shell.
At Metro, they are selling $20 gift cards to use for fuel at Petro Canada. Therefore, if you want fuel certificates, you redeem 140 Air Miles for a $20 Metro certificate. Then you use the $20 certificate at Metro to purchase the $20 Petro Canada certificate. The savings - 35 Air Miles.
