Ontario raises minimum price of beer

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario recently raised the minimum price of beer out of "social responsibility". Toronto Star's translation "If alcohol is too cheap, you may abuse it". While this is a valid point, you could say the same thing for a lot of things and thus require price floors on chocolate, gas, cigarettes, soft drinks, adult videos...
